We only have another day left of induction week. Next week the lectures start, it'll be very busy, but not as busy as this week. I can deal with the workload at the moment, but I wish that the new subject manager wouldn't keep on having these damn ideas of things we can do (and which I have to build/program/investigate).
Every day he seems to come along and find something new he wants me to do - nice, but very annoying. There is no backup to me, I have noone I can call on for help because of the job I do. I expect I'll be spending a lot of time working out what the hell he wants and how to do it. Couple that with all the other jobs and I wonder how on earth I'm going to do all this.
Sometimes I wish I'd stayed in the finance department and learnt to be a accountant.
Hell - I think I prefered it when I was a filing clerk - nice simple job. No computers, all I needed was a staple remover and hole punch.
Oh, and just for the hell of it
