Course - Day 3

Okay, we're getting to the end of the course. Today was easier then Tuesday, mostly about heart attacks and such like. So, after all the stuff we were on the resusitation and CPR. It was strange in a way, CPR is actually quite a strange procedure. Although its seemingly fine, it does seem quite 'violent'. For example, the hospital Accident and Emergency unit say that most people who have had CPR usually have to be treated for cracked ribs - because of the CPR. Then again, what would you prefer - a few cracked ribs and life or no cracked ribs and death. I know what I'd choose.

Anyway, assessment tomorrow afternoon so I'll know if I'm a qualified first aider by late afternoon tomorrow. Then, its back to work on Friday and wade through the mountain for emails and other such like.

Badminton this evening was fun - I was annoyed at first because none of my shots were doing what I want them to - I don't mind a few 'going rogue' but this was annoying. Luckily it was short lived and it was a very enjoyable evening. I do, however, wonder what can be done with some of the other in the group. I rocket around the court covering extra space to protect weaker players and they don't bother to take a small step to reach a shot. Some people do try, and improve, but ones thay don't even make a small effort are quite annoying.
